GDPR Extension Overview

Our Magento 2 GDPR extension helps your business to comply with the latest legislative EU requirements. This helps to protect your customer's data by allowing your customer's to have control over the data they want to share or remove. This GDPR Magento extension nicely complements Magento's built in checkout terms and conditions feature and the Magento customer cookie notice feature.

FEATURED HIGHLIGHTS

Allow customers to delete their entire account

• As the admin, you can enable or disable this feature.
• If the user deletes their account, it will also remove them from the newsletter subscription, delete their cookies, remove their abandoned carts, remove cart quotes and anonymize their existing order data. This all depends on the settings you have chosen in the admin area. Again, you have full control as the admin.

Allow customers to delete their cookies

• This version currently deletes the amz_auth_err, amz_auth_logout, guest-view, login_redirect, mage-cache-sessid, mage-cache-storage, mage-cache-storage-section-invalidation, persistent_shopping_cart, private_content_version, product_data_storage, recently_compared_product, recently_compared_product_previous, recently_viewed_product, recently_viewed_product_previous, section_data_ids, stf, store, __utma, __utmt, __utmb, _utmz and __utmv cookies.

Allow customers to delete their billing and shipping addresses

• If the customer has the same address for billing and shipping then both will be removed in one click.
• If the customer has multiple addresses then the customer can choose which address to remove

Allow customers to anonymize their order data

• If the admin has chose to allow the customer to anonymize orders in any state/status, then all personal customer information will be removed from the order, invoice, shipment, credit memo and etc. This includes the customer's first, middle and last name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address, fax, company, prefix, suffix, vat id, additional data and information, credit card information, check info and etc from all orders no matter what status the order is in.
• If the admin has chose to allow the customer to anonymize orders that only have the status of complete, cancelled or closed, then all personal customer information will be removed from the order, invoice, shipment, credit memo and etc. This includes the customer's first, middle and last name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address, fax, company, prefix, suffix, vat id, additional data and information, credit card information, check info and etc from orders that only have the status of complete, cancelled or closed.

Full admin control

• As the admin, you have full control over all customer features that this Magento extension offers.

Configure how the customer's info is Anonymized

• The ability to choose what you would like to replace the customer's first name with.
• The ability to choose what you would like to replace the customer's last name with.
• The ability to choose what you would like to replace the customer's email address with.

Translation Included

• Translation dictionary file added for easy translation of any of the text used in this extension.
